There isn't many things this blender can't do. I love making homemade soups, dressings, sauces, the list goes on. It is also awesome for desserts like milkshakes, smoothies, and whipping up egg whites for meringue or whipping heavy cream for whipped cream. It is the most used appliance in my kitchen. Great as a gift for someone who loves to cook! 👍

Bought it several weeks ago and love how it performs on thickening soups, making fruit smoothies with frozen fruit, etc. but it is awkward to depress lock and speed at same time. Needs to be able to turn it on and run it without involving another button to push and hold.

I bought this hand blender in hopes it could replace my 27 year old hand mixer. This blender is convenient, it doesn't take up space; efficient, it is powerful enough for gravies, soups, cake mixes, and salsas. I like the safety feature of the lock/unlock button. It is also easy for the smaller hand size, it is not too bulky to manage its use.

Good for creating drinks from fresh fruit, mixing with yogurt. I only wish it would beat egg whites to a stiff consistency. Still looking for the ideal device to do that easily. But this is a very good little mixer for liquids. Cuisinart means quality. I like all of my Cuisinart devices. Given a choice of a similar item I'd go with Cuisinart, regardless of price difference. It's worth every penny for this quality.

Happy with this replacement for my old one. Makes mayo without any challenge. Strong motor that doesn’t heat up or struggle. You need to hold both buttons at the same time to turn it on and speed is adjusted by a small switch on top of the unit.

I had another hand blender that lasted for about 25 years, but the motor was making weird noises so my husband bought me this one for Christmas. It works great. I used it for butternut squash soup and it blended everything quickly. It should last for many years.

Works fantastic. I bought it for my instant pot for making soups. I made a butternut squash soup and it turned out delicious. My only problem was it scratched the bottom of the Teflon pan. I thought I could hold it above the bottom of the pan but when i turned it on, it pulled to the side. I didnt realize it would do that, this was my first time using an immersion blender.
