It is a good blender. My first immersion blender & it took awhile to figure out you need to move it up & down without making a mess lol. There's a lot you can do with it, and so far I've only made mayo & mixed and remixed smoothies and drinks. For smoothies, you have to let frozen fruit thaw a bit before blending.

The Cuisinart Smart Stick 300 is a great improvement over my old Cuisinart Quick Prep, whose motor failed after years of good service. The new model is distinctly more powerful and much easier to clean. I especially like that the mixing and measuring cup is larger than that which came with the Quick Prep

The blender is much bigger than the super old one that I inherited from my mom, and I was a bit worried that it would be too big for my hands, or that it would be awkward to handle. I’m much relieved on both counts. It’s very easy to handle and even with arthritis it’s no problem at all. And it performs beautifully, too. I am very happy with this purchase.
