I really like the product. The metal blades can be used in a hot pan or skillet. The only thing I don’t like is having to push two buttons simultaneously in order to blend. I would have considered another brand had I known about this.

I bought the same hand mixer 15 years ago for my restaurant, we use it for smaller things we need to blend. I thought if it lasts 5 or 6 years I'll be happy. When it stopped working at 15 I was super happy! I obviously went with the same model and hope it lasts as long. I have several cuisinart products in my kitchen and I can say as a professional that the quality and durability is unsurpassed. I wouldn't buy any other brand !

Happy with this replacement for my old one. Makes mayo without any challenge. Strong motor that doesn’t heat up or struggle. You need to hold both buttons at the same time to turn it on and speed is adjusted by a small switch on top of the unit.

I love my Smart Stick. My only complaint is the safety button. It took a couple of times to become perfection with safety when using. They may want to rethink the safety design. Never had a Cuisinart product that didn't last a long time.
