Received as a gift. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I made carrot soup and applesauce with ease. Cut the time in half.

I had one before I purchased this one. Loved it! This was an upgrade because it was two-speed. It's great when I'm making soups. It's well made and reliable. Highly recommend it

Make your own Mayo and skip the seed oils.

I have been learning how to make the foods we eat so as to avoid seed oils and dyes. I starting making my own Mayo and it is so easy and tastes way better then the store stuff. I use pasteurized eggs that I pasteurize myself and Olive Oil some Dijon mustard and apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt. The stick blender works great and is so easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whipped cream in a jiffy!! I bought this immersion blender and have been very happy. It has a strong motor and mixes thoroughly. The plastic mixing container got chipped easily.

Design flaw

Having to press both the Power button and the other button at the same time to start the stick is not only uncomfortable but also dangerous bkz 2 hands are really needed to press both buttons at once and the force with which the Stick jumps into action makes the mixing bowl slide out from under the Stick or just start spinning before you can hold it down with one of your hands once the Power button is no longer needed. Short of using a concrete grade weighted bowl, I could think of no safe solution to this setup. So I returned the product. Disappointed but knowing it was a dangerous tool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
