Received my stick blender as a Christmas gift and used it that day to blend my gravy. I have always used by big blender, but that's always tricky as the hot liquid and vegetables can spew out and cause burns. The stick blender kept it all in the pan, and visible so I knew when it was exactly as I like it. SCORE ONE!

The Smart Stick Two-Speed Blender is fantastic! It is easy to use and easy to clean. I use it to blend soups right in the pot and it is so much easier and cleaner than dragging out a kitchen top mixer or blender. It’s powerful and once done, a simple push of the button disassembles it for easy clean up!

This is a very useful tool that I use daily. I like having only 2 choices of speed, although the top speed seems to be not as fast as some cheaper hand blenders I've used. The materials used for the casing appear to be more durable than the cheaper blenders, so I'm hoping this one will last longer than 3-6 months.
