I have had several hand blenders to make smoothies. This is the best by far! I don’t use ice in my smoothies, just frozen fruit. And I love the tumbler with it. In the past I would have to find glasses to fit the blender and it never got the bottom of the glass mixed in.

I purchased this primarily with milkshakes and smoothies in mind. For those tasks, it works great. It will get further use with soups and salsas when I will give those things a whirl to thicken them, while still retaining some texture. I'm sure I'll find other uses as tasks arise.
