I purchased the Smart Stick three weeks ago and I'm glad I did. I use it to make protein shakes on almost a daily basis. So far it has worked as I hoped it would. It blends fruit and ice very effectively. And, it is easy and efficient.

I have been making soups and needed an immersion blender to puree some of them. I have a Cuisinart food processor and love it. This hand blender does a great job but do watch you use it for no longer than a minute at a time so you don't burn out the motor. I do like the long shaft so you can blend a big pot of soup.
