Works well enough... should have listened to the negative reviews regarding the lock button. It has to be pushed in to turn on then it can be let go of, but any repositioning or pressure taken off the power button requires that you go through the start up proceedure of holding down both buttons at the same time again. This makesmaking the one handed operation awkward.

The blender is great. I bought it to replace my Hamilton Beach stick blender. This one seems like it won't break since it's all metal instead of plastic. However, storage is an issue. It comes with a cup (that I don't see myself using) and there's no way to store it. I'll have to find a drawer somewhere. My old one had a storage box that it came in. That would be really nice.

Although I've had this hand blender for a short time, I am very pleased with it. It is convenient to store and retrieve and efficient, as well as easy to use. I have arthritis in my hands, but I have no problem operating the device. It is also very easy to clean and store.

I bought the same hand mixer 15 years ago for my restaurant, we use it for smaller things we need to blend. I thought if it lasts 5 or 6 years I'll be happy. When it stopped working at 15 I was super happy! I obviously went with the same model and hope it lasts as long. I have several cuisinart products in my kitchen and I can say as a professional that the quality and durability is unsurpassed. I wouldn't buy any other brand !
