The utility knife cuts at an angle all the other ones that I have used cuts straight.
My preference is to cut straight. And I find myself using my utility knife for a lot of things in the kitchen. So for that reason I don’t like this set. Also the knife are not what the picture showes as the knifes have a metal end and are not the same looking as the stake knifes.

I took this back. Once placed on my counter I couldn't get the knives out without moving the entire thing due to the upward pull necessary to get them out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have owned for a short amount of time but really like the knife set. It appears to be durable and I hope that it can last as long as our "cheap" set that had lasted for 10 years. Only time will tell but so far I'm impressed. I do wish that there was an added filet knife though!

why no bread knife in a set?
you get a sharping steel .. little early to say you need that - but ok ... where is the bread knife?? and why is that not part of any of your sets?????
