Outperforms the Rug Doctor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very easy to assemble unit and pretty light weight machine. There were no tools required to put it together and took less than 10 minutes. Out first test was on an old stain in the carpet where one of the kids spilled a drink. We used the included sample of carpet cleaner which has a pleasant scent. Setting up the unit was very easy as the reservoir is on top and releases easily. After filling and adding the solution, resting the reservoir we started cleaning. While running there is a trigger on the handle you press and release for the water. Releasing stops the water. Compared to a rug doctor we own, this was able to remove the stains the rug doctor wouldn't. The added heat feature is a great help. The tank cleanup was very easy and convenient. This does include upholstery attachments and are easily connected.Overall, this will be our go to cleaner going forward.

Having two containers one for clean water the other for dirty was ingenious. And I was AMAZED how clean it got my carpet. I even was able to clean my stairs without using the attachment. So easy and comfortable to use, it felt like I was vacuuming my carpet. Overall a winner! Five stars no question.

After looking at the Hoover website, I found the Power scrub XL and it was exactly what I was looking for; a commercial grade cleaner but a residential size and price. This cleaner does a fantastic job! It has removed pet stains that my old cleaner didn't touch. It is very easy to use, durable quality and my favorite part, easy to clean! I also love the bag that comes with it to keep the upholstery hose and attachments in, and it's designed to hang on the handle while in storage. Hoover earns an A on this machine!

I definitely put the Hoover PowerScrub XL+ Carpet Cleaner to good use the past few weeks. With a messy tween and three cats (we did have four but sadly, our senior cat passed away), I feel like there is always some kind of mess to clean up! This carpet cleaner made cleaning up after our senior cat easy and eliminated any trace of staining. And now when my daughter spills something (or I drop a paint brush on the carpet), it's a simple clean up instead of worrying about stains and messes. The Hoover PowerScrub XL+ Carpet Cleaner was easy to use and handle, no big bulky machine! Even my daughter could use it! Definitely a must have for any busy mom with little ones, pets or who just wants to have that wonderful "clean carpet" without the major hassles.

I had an older model and thought that I had something good already, but this new one decimated my old one in terms of cleaning capabilities. The unit came in parts and was really easy to assemble. I did not think it would be so simple and easy to pit together but it was 4 screws and done. That was all it took to get started. I cleaned my entire house in 2 hours and the water and dirt that came up was astonishing. The water was so dirty! This unit has set new expectations of cleaning for me. I don't think anything can even compete. 13/10
