It seems like it works well. I do not have a heavily soiled carpet, but the water was pretty dirty in the return tank. Not sure if soap is working correctly, as it did not seem to go through much when cleaning! Very easy tn clean unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of money

Bought this in November 2025, and it leaks fluid all over the floor. Upon further inspection, the water leaked appears it’s coming from the dirty tank. We contacted Hoover for warranty information, the process for getting any assistance for either replacement or repair is beyond frustrating. They seem to try and get out of fixing the machine that’s less than a year old and used less than 15 times.

Loved it until it started leaking

Loved this until the clean tank and the cleaner container started gushing water out if the bottom. Sometimes it just flows through after a few passes. Please write back and let me know if there's a fix for this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cost saving carpet cleaner

I had a carpet cleaning company come in and clean the carpet in a 1100 Sq ft rental. After their second visit I still wasn't satisfied with their work. I bought this carpet cleaner to see if I could do a better job. I was amazed. was easy to assemble and operate. Right away I could see that this carpet cleaning machine was doing an excellent job. It cost me half what they charged me and did a far better job. Won't need to hire my carpets cleaned any more. Great product, after one use it paid for itself three time over. Thank you Hoover.

Good, but I have never used a carpet cleaner that requires you to remove the shampoo container to rinse with just water. This machine needs a switch like any other carpet cleaner to stop the flow of shampoo instead of removing the container from the machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this yesterday and spent today cleaning my loungeroom carpet and most of my upholstery. Frankly I'm amazed at what this machine collected. I have been regularly using an older but reputable cleaner with a brand beginning with B. B was good but my new H is much better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is the best product to use. have had several of them and only brand i will buy. i had to invest in a new one a couple of months ago. now i have a problem with it. inside the cleaning solution one the part in the bottom that dispenses the cleaner has came off inside. there is no way i can figure out how to get them back together. i know there is no way i can take it back to store i bought it from. very frustrating that i cant use it without all the solution running out at once.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
