I am hoping it outlives me!

I am 65 and my old hoover finally went "brushes up" after 20+ years. So I'm hoping to not have to buy another. We live rural, with dogs, cats, livestock, and lots of dirty shoes that don't always get kicked off outside like they should. I clean the carpets at least 4 times per year. One thing I liked on the old one was the little spin brushes that don't seem to stretch the carpet out like brush rolls can. Sadly, the new one's brushes are kinda wimpy, and don't look like they will last as long. Hoover: use sturdier brushes! I shouldn't have to buy new ones in a couple years. Otherwise very happy with purchase.

Powerscrub XL Carpet Cleaner Works great and easy to use

The powerscrub was very easy to assemble out of the box. We have a dog and cat and the deep clean setting worked great cleaning up their messes. We had a 10 year old Hoover carpet cleaner that worked great too and we really liked and it got a lot of use. But it was time for a new one. The improvements made in the powerscrub cleaner are noticeable in every way. From the high quality materials to the powerful motor and suction of the unit. It was easy to use and clean up afterwards. Thanks

Water pump does not work

Put it together and we can use it right out of the box. Suction works, heater works, but it does not spray any water on the floor and water pump does not work. Check the filter and everything is clean because it's brand new. Brushes work and everything works on it except it does not spray water onto the floor to clean it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works so well at getting carpets clean and mostly dry. I really appreciate the separate soap dispenser so I no longer have to measure. Refills and empties are easier than my older model. Cleanup is a breeze, brush attachment easily comes off to clean and the handy little tool helps clean out the fibers and lint that get stuck in there. Really easy to use.

Had problems with the solution tank from day 1.

Had problems with the solution tank leaking from day 1. Does not seem to be a fix. So what do we need to do? All & all poor design.
