Works just like the industrial machines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two kids at home and my dog just had four puppies. This Hoover PowerScrub XL+ Carpet Cleaner is perfect to clean the carpet in the bedrooms and my area rug in my living room. It all took me about an hour to do two room and the are rug. It looks a bit heavy compared to a regular vacuum but it is really easy to maneuver as you clean. I initially was adding a lot of cleaning solution to the carpet. So you do have to be careful and add just what's needed and but can add more to areas that are dirtier. The two water tanks can easily be removed to fill or drain out. It has two cleaning cycles, rinse and clean, I have only used the clean since my carpet areas needed a good cleaning. Definitely like this carpet cleaner, works great, easy to use and removed all the stains off my carpet areas. I am very impressed with the quality and easy to use. I will no longer need to rent or have someone come clean my carpet as this machine does the job.

Wonderful performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Power scrub XL+Carpet cleaner was very easy to put together I made my mixture of cleaner to clean my carpets something that has been needed to be done for probably more than 5 years went over when it's a bedroom floors a total of three times not tell you this thing has scrubbing and suction power I am not kidding by far one of the best carpet cleaners that I've ever used also it is great because you can shoot heat out extremely hot your carpet will not be wet not even damp within a day of using it the carpet will be dry and it will look almost brand new again yes I recommend the Hoover power scrub carpet cleaner having pets and children this is a must

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some assembly required but no tools or small parts. It was light weight and easy to use. LOVE the 5 spinning brushes. This has great suction power and very quick dry time. I feel set in stains still need to be pre treated. This is the first and only shampooer that hasn't plugged up with pet hair, i have 3 cats and 1 dog. Love the floaty ball that let's you know when dump tank is full. Has two sittings quick clean and deep clean. Has separate clean and dirty water tanks. Heat force makes it the best, I have owned 4 shampooers in the last 20 years.

Even cleans older carpet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had quite a few different carpet cleaners and this one is by far the best one. My current home still has carpet probably from the late 90s. I even had them professionally cleaned and this thing did better than the professionally cleaning company. I'm not saying this is going to save my old old carpet but it definitely cleaned it and got the smells and pet stains out so I can save to actually replace the carpet in the whole house.

Quick start guide got me going in minutes, although some of the instructions in the manual seemed to be written for multiple models. This model was very lightweight and simple; it's there to do a job, and does it's job well. The heated dry worked well, and I was able to put the room back together in no time! Long hose and attachments are conveniently stowed in a separate bag. I received this as a tester, and am very happy to have this now at home. I would definitely recommend it to friends/family/strangers! Best part about this unit is how easy it is to disassemble and clean. I've never had another carpet cleaner that was this easy to clean, or cleanable period!

I had several stains on my living room carpet ...no telling what they are bc i have kids, pets, and a messy chubby hubby! Ive tried everything to clean that room! Ive bought stain removers, rented carpet cleaners, borrowed carpet cleaners to end up with the same stained result! This Hoover PowerScrub+Carpet Cleaner kicked them stains butts! I couldnt believe what i was seeing...or not seeing, lol! I purchased both of my sons one for christmas! Every home should have one! Good job Hoover!!

I have used it a number of times and have come to the conclusion that this may be the best carpet cleaner I have ever used. I used it at my house, my inlaws house and my neighbors house and everyone just can't believe how much stuff it picks up. It was really easy to assemble and the hose part even works really good. The heating part works really good also. I think this could be a really long lasting machine as long as you clean the tanks out when you are done using it and also flushing the system with plain water. It is easy to fill the tank with solution and water and also easy to remove the dirty tank to drain. It is also easy to clean the brushes out. I have used many different brands and series of carpet cleaners and this is by far the best.
