[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a powerful machine! It is also wide and really digs the dirt back out of the carpet for a deep clean. The water capacity is large too so I don't have to empty it several times for a large area of the carpet. I am very pleased with this.

I have been using a different brand of carpet cleaner for many years and was quite satisfied with it. However, my perspective changed after I purchased this Hoover carpet cleaner. I have beige carpet that is over 25 years old, and this machine worked wonders on it. We have a household with both cats and dogs, so messes are unavoidable. Despite this, the machine effortlessly cleaned up even the most stubborn stains, including set-in urine stains. I appreciate the separate containers for dirty and clean water, as well as the fact that there is no need to mix the cleaning solution. Additionally, removing the brush heads for cleaning is incredibly simple. Honestly, I cannot imagine a better carpet cleaner. I ended up cleaning the entire living room because the results were so impressive, which is not a bad thing at all. My carpets now look better than when I first purchased my house a few years ago. I am genuinely amazed by this product and will continue to choose this brand in the future.

I recently purchased the Hoover Power Scrub XL. I LOVE IT. It works like a dream. I read many reviews before choosing this model. I bought it for the easy 1 gal container (for removing dirty water). It was a snap to empty, it was easy to operate. As for cleaning - the suction was unbelievable in picking up the wet shampoo from the carpet. Taking it apart to clean and rinse the parts - was easy too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this to try before the holidays to really give those final touches to my home before our guests arrive. Assembly wasn't the easiest, even though they include step by step picture instructions. The pieces don't fit perfectly together, so k spent a good bit of time second guessing myself. The cleaning power left something to be desired. Our carpets were cleaned about 6 months ago professionally, but we do have a 13 month old, so accidents happen. However, this did not seem to get up basic entry way marks. I will continue to try it & see if there maybe is something that can be tweaked & make it more effective, but for now, I have to leave it at "nice to have, but not something I'd recommend."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
