Just ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first took this out of the box, I was shocked by how lightweight it was however, it turns out that because it’s so light as I was setting it up I had a lot of trouble getting it to remain with the handle standing up. There was enough weight in the handle that it kind of kept pulling itself down it’s very difficult to clip the handle in general as you finish vacuuming back into place. It has multiple settings, depending on your floor type from anything from bar floors to height, fiber carpet, which are on the front. The best feature is the retractable cord. It’s so easy to pull it out and then with the push of a button with your foot it retracts back in meaning no time spent bending over and wrapping the cord. It also makes it easier than to use the attachments and tools if you don’t have to use all of the cord, it was very easy to assemble and quick to get started with.

Important instructions are practically unreadable

We just got the vacuum today and it assembled easily and it works.
However, by printing the Notes, Cautions, And Warnings in a tiny black font on a dark gray background, you made this information almost unreadable. What were you thinking?
My 1 star rating was only for the printed instructions.

Not what it used but still a very good vacuum

I had the previous Hoover Wind Tunnel for 15 years and I gave it away in excellent condition to replace with the latest model. A few things changed that were nice features on the older model. This model is missing rubber strips on plastic wheels, the power button used to be on handle and easier to reach and the arm on this has to be inserted and screwed in where the old one had a latch and when pressed it the arm folded down for better storage. Not sure why Hoover changed these features but regardless, the vacuum performs very well. Not sure it will last as long as the previous model but I'm satisfied with it nonetheless mostly for the improved suction, minimal noise and no streaking on carpets/rugs. Add the other features back and it will be a perfect vacuum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did a lot of research and I'm mostly happy with this vacuum. It does pick up dog hair and dust well from my hardwood floors. some of the tools are cumbersome to deal with. The pet turbo tool is hard to use, doesn't run really smoothly across carpet, and it can be difficult to use on the stairs. The skinny nozzle has a rubberized tip that causes it to drag against carpet or flooring, so that's a minus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best dust remover for your home

Excellent for dust reduction. I have had one for over ten years now, and I am so impressed that I am currently purchasing a new one. The old one was held closed with tape. The trick is to always dump it out, or hose it out. And get the replacement hepa filter part every year or so. That's it, because the simple to dump cannister is awesome.
