Cord/ rewind

The machine is 6 yrs. Old. Now, the machine shuts off when I’m using it. The fiddled with it. When I tires on the cord it started up, but then continued to shut off. The cord and rewind feature is not working. I can’t vacuum .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I don't have pets but I thought this vacuum had the options I wanted. I like how lightweight this little vacuum is. Makes it easy to carry it up and down stairs. The rotating brush attachment works well on carpeted stairs. It's easy to pop the handle out to use the tools. The tilting brush is nice for cleaning the tops of bookcases, etc, but you can't really reach the back side unless it's very narrow.
I wish there were a brush attachment with long soft bristles for dusting bookshelves, etc.

Problem after first use. My fault.

A very powerful vacuum cleaner. Maybe the best I've ever owned and I am 81 years of age. However, I have one major issue ( the reason for 3 stars as this machine really deserves 5 stars). I brought this vacuum home and could not wait to try it. I pulled the electric cord out of the vacuum by hand before it's first use. I was immediately impressed by it's ease of use but when I tried to rewind the power cable it would not work. There was no manual with the machine but it appears the reason the power cable will not rewind is I pulled it out as far as it would go passing the yellow and red marks on the cable. I did not pull the cable hard but it will not rewind. I hope there is an easy way to fix this issue. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE. I CAN'T HARDLY BELIEVE THAT I HAVE A PROBLEM AFTER ONE USE!

The high setting is too high for the brush to touch the rug, but the medium setting is too low and it catches. The furniture brush isn't designed to be easily opened for cleaning and stopped working in the first year. It tips over incredibly easily and often falls on me or the floor when I'm trying to use the accessories. Now it's just suction completely despite frequent cleaning so I'm trying to figure out how to fix that. Over all, I guess it's ok for the price, but I will just spend more next time to get something better quality.

Center screw flaw

This model has a flaw design with the center screw. This is the second vacuum I bought with the same issue, you can’t get the screw out because the nut keeps turning and there’s no way to grab the nut with a tool.
I don’t know why you put the screw in there in the first place instead of putting it in a plastic bag inside the box.

The vac is useless to do under anything! It does not have an extension to reach unless you get down o you hand and knee.
