[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price this Hoover does an excellent job. My only reason for four stars is I don't care for where the on/off switch is located and the cord doesn't return on the first couple presses of the return cord switch.

I bought this vacuum 3/10/22. I noticed that when I was vacuuming my area rugs than when I went onto hardwood floors dirt was all over hardwood floors. There was no dirt in the dirt cup. After several calls with Hoover they agreed to replace. I received new vacuum in September 2022. The same problem is still occurring with new vacuum. Would not pick up any Christmas tree needles! I just took apart and cleaned out brush roll and noticed dirt stuck in hose port which I got out with a knife. Do not but this vacuum!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
