[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The winding mechanism is very disappointing. It is the no. 1 reason I bought this vacuum and it is not what I expected. I did not think I would have to hand feed the cord but I did. The vacuum pushes too hard on carpet even after raising it. The suction is very good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The suction of this vaccum is great! It really got all of the dog hair out of my carpet when using it for the first time. The only thing I would suggest to have changed would be the length of the hose for the attachments. It is too short. Althought the attachments allow for a longer reach, because the hose is so short it is difficult to use around and behind your sofa or other sharp corners. It is a great value for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] works well, cord will not rewind all the way in, they are willing to replace the complete vacuum, if I cut the cord and take picture to prove and they will send me a new one, too much trouble, I can still push it in by hand, it does defeat the purpose though, if I get fed up, I will move vacuum to barn and buy a different kind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a few different Hoover vacuums over the last 20 years and the WindTunnel is our favorite. It's not too heavy but still super sturdy, it's great for our upstairs level which is fully carpeted and we have a dog (enough said), and the attachments make is easy to tackle drapes, dog bed, hard to reach areas. Oh, and we would never buy a vacuum ever again that didn't have the cord rewind feature - so much easier. Please enter me/us in your SWEEPSTAKES.

We've always bought Hoover vacuum cleaners and never had a problem. This vacuum is only two years old and shuts down during the middle of vacuuming. We've cleaned the filter and debris cylinder multiple times. It is a bagless vacuum - maybe that's the problem. My husband thinks the motor gets too hot then the vacuum shuts down. Very frustrating - I have to vacuum in "shifts."As the old saying goes, "They don't make things like they use to."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have 3 dogs and it's great for pet hair, I vacuum about twice a weeks and it keeps up with the work around the house! Great vacuum!

I had one for ever got it in 2014 for a caretaker job in some nasty Apts. Did the hallways , cleaning out units stairs in all 11 buildings. It was a 2015 model. I don't use it much anymore it still runs! I like it just use it in the garage and clean out my truck and work car. Going to buy this new model , LOVE the rewind cord it is so nice to have. I cleaned the filter more than most people would. I would recommend having 2 they do take some time to dry out. Putting them in the sun helps the drying faster.
