[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew my old Bissell vacuum was almost worn out and the difference between this vacuum and the old Bissell became obvious the first time I used the Hoover. I was impressed with its performance. On the other hand, the location of the on off switch is in the worst possible location. You have to bend over to turn on this vacuum! The design engineer for this vacuum was not thinking in terms of placement for the on/off switch. The on/off switch should be near the top of the handle. Are you listening Hoover?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum doesn't " budge " on #3 carpet setting ( area rug). Sooo disappointed . The worst customer service ; Hoover wants me to pay shipping fees to return this lemon. Very unfair and poor poor service .

We've always bought Hoover vacuum cleaners and never had a problem. This vacuum is only two years old and shuts down during the middle of vacuuming. We've cleaned the filter and debris cylinder multiple times. It is a bagless vacuum - maybe that's the problem. My husband thinks the motor gets too hot then the vacuum shuts down. Very frustrating - I have to vacuum in "shifts."As the old saying goes, "They don't make things like they use to."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had an issue with cord rewind and pulled it out past red marker tape. Could not get it to rewind. Taker to representative "Angel" (and that she is). I just wasn't pushing peddle down while holding cord taut. Oh I am soooo happy! TY Hoover and their "Angel!"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The suction of this vaccum is great! It really got all of the dog hair out of my carpet when using it for the first time. The only thing I would suggest to have changed would be the length of the hose for the attachments. It is too short. Althought the attachments allow for a longer reach, because the hose is so short it is difficult to use around and behind your sofa or other sharp corners. It is a great value for the price.
