Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum for me is what I needed and didn't know it. It's been years since I had a new vacuum and I'm glad this Hoover came into my life. Put together was easy took about 3-5 minutes and only because we read the directions to make sure every attachment and hose was where it should be. I haven't used any attachments yet but that won't be for long, I have a couch and corners that need to be had. The Hoover Windtunnel is nice and size a little bigger than my previous vacuum. It is a little heavy which for me makes it seem strong and sturdy and I'm not bringing it up and down stairs. Ok now the suction man the suction is like no other I've had. You can feel it's pulling up dirt and whatever else is in the carpets and on the floor. I have a nice sweet and sour cat who's hair seems to be everywhere. You can just rub her and hair goes flying. I used my old vacuum over a spot and then used the Hoover Windtunnel let's just say we weren't cleaning the floor at ALL! My carpets are super old and I normally have to put the vacuum on the lowest setting but not with my new Hoover, it's in the middle not even on the lowest setting and it was pulling my carpet to its optimum clean. I could see all the cats hair in the catcher I could see the dirt. The only think that I'm a little unsure of is the rewind button for the cord. I don't know how much pressure and for some reason it feels like you will break it. I step down on it several times different ways before the cord retracts. That may be a me issue though. All and all I know that I would recommend and purchase another Hoover in general how much I'm pleased with my new vacuum.

Just when you think you've uncovered it all, the hoover WindTunnel proves otherwise and sucks up everything we thought we previously removed. This vacuum has been a huge game changer in our home, especially with the self rewind cord and all the extra attachments to get into places our fur babies love to lay and be. I would highly recommend to anyone, but most definitely for pet owners alike!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was extremely easy to assemble and use. It works well not only on carpet but on my wood floor as well. I could not believe how much hair it picked up in such a short time. The canister empties very easily and the vacuum is very easy to clean as well. It is a bit on the loud side but that's ok because it is very powerful. I would highly recommend to anyone who has pets in their home as it is very effective at getting all the hair. I really like all the extra cleaning tools that it came with as well.

Loud, and bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comparing this vacuum to others I have bought this one is very loud and high pitched squeal. I can't use this vacuum when my niece is here and is napping as it is to loud. I also found compared to most newer vacuums this one is heavy and very bulky. One other flaw is the placement of the filter it seemed like the handle for the filter was a handle to help move the vacuum but it was not and the filter popped out and I dropped the vacuum on my floor. One plus is the suction is good and this vacuum does seem to pick up a mess pretty easily. Ultimately I would say that this vacuum could be a little less heavy and it could use something to make it not so loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Wind Tunnel Cord Rewind Pro Upright Vacuum was fairly easy to unpack and put together. I was a bit surprised at how heavy it was and how wide the actual vacuum was. It has a range of settings, from hard wood floors to thick carpet which is ideal when you have a variation of floors in your home. It also came with 2 attachments, one for cleaning drapes and another for cleaning the couches. They worked fairly well. I was surprised it didn't come with an extension wand for those hard to reach places. Another great feature is the Rewind Cord, which you don't have worry about winding the cord on the side of the vacuum, unfortunately, I was disappointed on how short the cord is. It doesn't offer the same length as the other vacuums. The biggest disappointment for me was cleaning my hard wood floor, it didn't pick everything up like other vacuums have in the past. I had to pass it over 2-3 times to get everything off the floor, but on my carpet it did fairly well. Picked up all the dust and pet hair. Left it looking very clean. So while it has some great features, it also has some down falls, but if you have a home that is all carpet I think this would be a great started vacuum.

I absolutely love the cord rewind on the your Hoover WindTunnel Cord Rewind Pro Upright Vacuum. All I have to do is press the button and zip!...it winds right up. I have 3 dogs and I have to vacuum daily to deal with the dirt, debris andhair. The your Hoover WindTunnel Cord Rewind Pro Upright Vacuum gets my hardwood and vinyl floors spotless. The attachments are great for furniture and hard to reach spots like my ceiling fans and corners. I was provided with a sample to review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying this vacuum had a lot to live up to. There are 6 people and 3 dogs on these carpets. Now with saying that, it picks up nicely and smoothly. It's a bit noisy and bulky. When cleaning there were no issues, very smooth and easy transition from one carpet to another. Very easy to clean after use.
