[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product doesn't compare to other products I've tried because it's so much better! Best perk is the hose cleaner that's on the machine! It cuts time in half and works so well! Only slight downside is the size but even that's not much of an issue! I got the product for free in exchange for writing the review as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything was packaged well and taking it out of the box was easy. There was nothing to put together which is nice. I only had to choose which nozzle to use. The instructions didn't make sense in the quick start guide. "LIFT BACKWARD TO REMOVE TANK" - uhm..what? Also step 2 when it told me to "SECURE SOLUTION PORT". No clue what that means. As for use of the Cleanslate - it was great. Not too loud. Powerful suction. However there was one tool I couldn't use because it never clicked into place. See picture. Maybe hubby can get it on when he gets home. I think I need an upright however because this has me sitting on the floor at 55. Still, right now I'm addicted. Gonna get up all these spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cleaned up three different spots that have been on my bedroom carpet for years. One spot was definitely paint and I'm not even sure what caused the other two. This product did not disappoint! For the paint spot I tried using only the solution and water mixture. I saw some results but not what I was expecting. I decided to use the spot and stain remover to see if that would help. I sprayed it on the spot and left it for about 10 minutes. Then I scrubbed it a bit with the attachment that has the softer bristles. Within a few passes, the rest of the spot came up like magic. I pretreated the other two spots and they came up easily as well.

Life's little accidents can be trying but this new device has been a godsend. It doesn't take up that much space and it can get the job done quickly and effectively! I would definitely recommend to all pet owners.

The cleaning instruments are also fantastic animal hair doesn't get all stuck up in them. It is kinda loud but they all are. I couldn't get over how good it sucked lol. Light weight easy to carry. Comes with a bag for all the extras. 3 dogs and 4 cats and 1 great cleaner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some pet urine stains on the carpet that were about from a few months ago. Prior to cleaning with the cleaner, immediately after the accident happened, I soaked up the urine and sprayed it with carpet cleaner and rubbed it with a wash cloth. I would say the machine did its job and really got rid of the majority of the stain. While it is not perfect with older stains it does a great job getting rid of the noticeable stain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hoover sent me the CleanSlate XL Deep Cleaning Spot Cleaner for FREE to review- I'm so glad they did! I have two dogs, three teenagers and a baby that's starting to crawl so I'm kind of crazy about clean floors these days. There was ZERO assembly- awesome! The instructions are incredibly clear and include pictures, the attachments come in various sizes and materials but all work well too. I think my favorite part of the CleanSlate XL is the self cleaning hose. It's such a nice feature so that you don't have any lingering "messy smells" and you know the machine is clean for the next use.
