Best little cleaner EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little Hoover Spot cleaner is by far one of the best little cleaning machines I have ever used. It is compact, easy to set up and use and easy to store. I have two indoor cats that occasionally have a fur ball episode or knock over something when I am away. The accident dries before I get home or find it. This little machine and the cleaner got the mess right up. The only thing I would like better would be a self retractable cord and on board storage of the attachments.

Small but mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson spilled blue slime in carpet months ago. I thought it was there forever. I was wrong. The CleanSlate cleaned that mess as well as several pet stains. Small but very efficient machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a longtime rug shampoo owner. I picked up my first one at a thrift store years ago, and have replaced it several times. I have always wanted a Spot Cleaner machine, but never could quite pull the plug. I was delighted to receive a CleanSlate XL to test out, getting to see if my wishes could be granted. I have two large dogs and our house has light carpet. I deep-clean the rugs twice a year and until we can get new flooring, that works. With dogs come messes. One of our dogs threw up in our bedroom twice. Before I could drag the big shampooer upstairs, I went into labor and did not return to the second floor for two months. I was greeted by nicely set-in dog vomit stains. In my postpartum haze, and in a limited window I didn't have the energy to carry up the full-sized shampooer. Awesome. Fortunately, I had the CleanSlate XL. It was easy to fill with water and cleaner. It was very easy to carry up the stairs, even full of water it wasn't off balance. The directions are attached if needed. Super easy to use. Simple, self-explanatory. I loved the fact that I did not have to unwind the entire length of the power cord to use the machine. Multiple attachments to choose from, but I was in a hurry and didn't get to use them all. Spots were cleaned up well, and the water was extracted to leave the carpet lightly damp, but nothing that would make me worry about mold or damage to the subfloor. I was curious, so I tested it out on some stains on the "dog couch". The tools worked well and could reach almost every curve. I look forward to testing this in my car in the future. My only complaint is that the tools don't store on the machine. They do have a very nice storage bag with a hanger, so they were in the closet and easy to find. I had forgotten that part, so I had to go back downstairs. I also feel that having the tools stored on the machine would make it bigger, so I see why this is the design. Just something to keep in mind, the tools need to be stored separately. Overall, I am super pleased with the Spot Cleaner, and I feel as if I will be using it quite often.
