Love the quiet operation, and how light it is. The remote is worthless, after you shut it down it keeps trying to start until you turn it off at the unit.
Runs quiet, looks good, has many cool options. It runs my 23 ft RV including the A/C. Everything works as advertised. Two issues though. When I got the generator, it worked perfectly. Started immediately and ran great. Within an a couple hours use, it started missing and running rough. Instead of sending it back which would have been a pain, and being a mechanic, I investigated. Turns out a wire was grounding out between the frame rail and the engine. It was evidently mis-routed during assembly. An easy fix for me but a problem for most. Second problem, doesn't start when it's cold outside. Cold meaning 40 degrees or colder. Most camping is during the warmer temps so it may not be a problem for most. All in all, it's as quiet as the equivalent Honda at about 1/3 the price.
Yes I will buy another. And I recommended to my friends.

It works great, I like the style, and the main reason during the emergency it performs great. better then the other generators like Honda. Fireman it's the very best of them all. and l saved a lot of money on gas.
I was very unsure about buying anything but a Honda. This is the best generator I have owned. The extra wattage over other models made this attractive for the investment. The Firman 3300 electric start has performed flawlessly.
I use it for emergency back up for my home and work perfectly, l had a problem with it and I take it to warranty and they resolve it very quickly and is working perfectly.

What a great generator. It is so quiet. Just as advertised. I recommend this generator to anyone that needs one. This little machine powered my large fridge, gave me light, even ran my washing machine. It was quiet, and economical. My running costs were about $5 per day... ran around 12 hours total per day in the eco mode. This machine kept me from losing my mind when we were without power for almost 6 months!
I have only been able to use this inverter a couple of times on our RV trailer, but it performed great running the roof top 13,500 btu a/c unit at about 1000 feet altitude we will be going camping in the near future at 5500 ft. And 7200 ft. If it works as well there I will be very happy. It has a lot of great features like remote start and stop hour meter, volt meter and Hertz on digital display. Very compact and fairly light.
We bought our Firman generator about 9 months ago. From the first camping trip with our generator it has had issues starting. The remote start sometimes disconnects and will not work most of the time. Last month our power went out so I tried to fire it up so we could use our fireplace blower, after 30 minutes of trying to start it I just gave up. FYI, I'm not a helpless millennial, I have used this kind of equipment my entire life and know how to troubleshoot these issues but I just can't get that thing running. I feel a bit burned because we passed up on getting a Honda because the salesman said the Firman was just as reliable.
