A Godsend!, Used for 6 months straight after Hurricane Maria

What a great generator. It is so quiet. Just as advertised. I recommend this generator to anyone that needs one.This little machine powered my large fridge, gave me light, even ran my washing machine. It was quiet, and economical. My running costs were about $5 per day... ran around 12 hours total per day in the eco mode. This machine kept me from losing my mind when we were without power for almost 6 months!

Great generator for the price

I really like this generator. It runs my microwave, AC and coffee maker (not at the same time). Its as quiet as my buddies Honda and the remote start is handy, especially on a cold morning. It has two minor drawbacks in that it has a manual choke and is pretty picky with fuel. You really need to run the 87 octane or better and old gas will cause it to run horribly. I used some gas I had purchased about a year ago (had been treated with Stabil every 3 months) and the generator would idle but any load would cause it to fail. Once I got the stale gas out of it, it ran like a champ. I had a power outage at home and this unit ran my refrigerator and freezer for 11 hours until my power was back on. Overall I would say if you buy one you will like it. I would give it 5 Stars if it had an automatic choke.

I have to say there customer service is outstanding. We had to call them and get a few things replaced that my kids lost and they had no problem sending them to us. They also sent another tools kit that come with the unit for my son because he loves tools. Used the unit this weekend and it runs good. It doesn't run as smooth as my buddies Yamaha though. But also is 1400 less then his. It ran my ac unit no problem. My wife and I loved the remote start. The battery lasted for the 4 day camping trip. I feel it was just as quiet as my buddies Yamaha as well. Only have 11 hours on it after this trip so we will see how it holds up.

Starts easily with remote, switch, and recoil. Runs pretty quiet. Combine with a Lion Energy Lithium Ion battery and you won't need to run it very long to charge the battery. I have had problems getting it to remote start form inside the trailer. The date on the box says it was made a year ago, so maybe the battery in the remote is dying. I had to charge the battery in the unit after the first trip because it wouldn't start the generator, however it started very easily with the recoil pull rope. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a generator for their RV.

My previous low rating/ WO3083 Remote Start

Previously I expressed my frustrations in trying to contact a real person in costumer service. I gave a low rating because of it. Finally someone called. Super service! Short and sweet. As for the WO3083 The issue I don't like is the 12 hour limitation on using the remote start for the generator. To activate the remote you first have to push the "Red" button on the generator. Useless if you're charging batteries every 24 hours. So after 12 hours you need to go out to the generator and push the "Red" button again. Sounds lazy but how often would you run a generator multiple times within 12 hours. So, rethink your need for this.
Pros: Easy access to controls outside of truck, Quiet, Sites in front of my 5th wheel hitch perfectly.
Cons: Remote start will only operate within 12 hours.
