I was very unsure about buying anything but a Honda. This is the best generator I have owned. The extra wattage over other models made this attractive for the investment. The Firman 3300 electric start has performed flawlessly.

I use this generator with my travel trailer. It works well enough and has power to run my A/C, micro wave and so forth. What I dislike is that the on board battery isn't charged by the generator. I have to actually plug the generator into a 120v outlet at home (or wherever) in order to charge it so I can use the remote control. The remote dies fairly quickly. This is actually by design. Why it can't natively charge the on board battery is beyond me as it has the ability to charge 12v batteries. I would have rated it higher if it would do that.
Pros: It is easy to maneuver with wheels and handle, it runs for a long time on a tank of gas, powerful generator. Noise level is good.
Cons: onboard starter battery not charged by generator, remote dies within a few hours
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
