Pros: Remote start, quiet, not too heavy.
Cons: I really don't have any at this time.

Have not use yet. Came fast, Started easily after charging its small battery. Ran with 800watt hair dryer for 20 min. no prob., remote start worked and unit ran....BUT kept trying to restart several times then shut engine down. Contacted via email with a response in acceptable time. After doing a visual inspection with no obvious problem found was informed that a replacement electronic control unit would be sent. Waiting for it. Will revisit this review if and when this process is completed. At the moment I cannot recommend until I am satisfied. I have high hopes.

I use this unit for fishing and camping with my 25' 5th wheel, runs everything I need. Love the remote start option. Dont need power all day so nice to be able to run it when needed, and to be able to shut off when not requires

Runs quiet, looks good, has many cool options. It runs my 23 ft RV including the A/C. Everything works as advertised. Two issues though. When I got the generator, it worked perfectly. Started immediately and ran great. Within an a couple hours use, it started missing and running rough. Instead of sending it back which would have been a pain, and being a mechanic, I investigated. Turns out a wire was grounding out between the frame rail and the engine. It was evidently mis-routed during assembly. An easy fix for me but a problem for most. Second problem, doesn't start when it's cold outside. Cold meaning 40 degrees or colder. Most camping is during the warmer temps so it may not be a problem for most. All in all, it's as quiet as the equivalent Honda at about 1/3 the price.
Pros: Quiet, cost, looks, remote starting
Cons: Hard starting cold. Fuel tank capacity,

The Firman inverter generator is nearly as quiet as a Honda

We use the Firman inverter generator for remote power around the property. It goes with us wherever we take our RV on the road. We prefer to boondock for more privacy and space is usually free. The solar system installed on the RV takes care of 90% of our electrical needs. The Firman is used when we need to use the microwave or when the sun is taking a multi-day vacation and failing to recharge the batteries.
