I go hunting and camping for at least a few weeks every year, then short weekend trips. I had a generator (Generac 3250) but after one use had to have it service for clogged fuel filter and was not wanting to be out in the woods with such a loud unit. The Firman is quiet comparatively- about 10dB quieter. Starts perfect each time, remote, loaded with features, safe for charging electronics and is plenty powerful enough to give my camp trailer batteries a recharge while deep out in the woods.

My firman has been a blessing it has helped my family tremendously after hurricane Maria hit Puerto rico. This machine is portable, efficient, powerful and reliable. This was my single source for power for 5 months until power came back. I have it ready to work for spontaneous blackouts. I highly recommend it to all my friends and family. Maintenance is easy even for a beginner like myself after reading instruction manual. I love how fuel efficient it is and how quiet it works when on eco mode.

I waited for a year before I gave review.this is an awesome gen. I read review that this won't start in cold weather I don't know what there doing wrong I started on cold day to boost my truck cause truck wouldn't start cause it was -27 Celsius but the gen started and put cables on for half hour and away my truck went. One thing for r-d department add magnetic dipstick ppl would be willing to pay the extra 10 bucks and somehow be able to check oil without taking cover off
