SA510 Compatible with windows 7 ?

I purchased a 1TB SA510 drive to install windows 7 to replace a older drive using a DELL service Tag USB download of windows 7. It failed saying the drive is not compatible with windows 7. Looking at the package for the drive it say only for windows 10.
My question is will a SA510 500GB be compatible with windows 7.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy to install product that will be helpful when you want to install something fast on your PC but only have a hard drive this will be useful because the SSD is so much faster than your HD . Due to the fact that this is a smaller sized SSD Id suggest installing your OS on it but it you have a fast MMO you want to play this would be great to throw it on.
