SA510 Flawed product design

Drive failed within 5 months of use and only 167 GB written to NAND. Unit is unrecognizable by Windows. Disk Management Tool failed to show the drive. Western Digital Dashboard freezes when trying to retrieve drive data.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

20% failure rate so far

We bought 40 of these to replace some old mechanical drives for one of our clients.
Great performance out of the gate, but over the past 3 months, 8 of them have died.
Support is quick to RMA, which is good, but they just replace them with another SA510, which have the same reliability issues. We are currently doing an RMA on one of the drives we have previously RMA'd.
Needless to say, our relationship with this particular client has taken a substantial hit.

Broke after a month or so

Like the title says. Was working fine until after a month of use, the write speed plummeted to <1mb/s... It's basically unusable now

Poor Quality & Unreliable Internal SATA SSD

Recently, I had bought a new WD Blue 1 TB SATA SSD for my laptop Dell Inspiron 5570. From the 1s day only, I was getting frequent system hang up and then the Blue screen of death error( BSOD error). After that instead of restarting normally, it loaded to a white screen which showed hard drive not installed. This problem continued even after the replacement by the reseller, from where I had bought the drive.
Though Support people were helpful but they offered another replacement and declined my request for a refund, stating it isn't their company policy. As my trust on WD Blue SATA SSD had been completely eroded, so had to bear the loss for selling the drive to the reseller.
That's when I decided to switch to some other company for a new SSD which is working better.
Bottom line - Don't buy WD Blue SATA SSD. They are quite unreliable. Or be extremely careful when doing so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall a good drive

Overall I have been using one of these drives in my machine for probably about a year or two now, but i have ran into one issue which is that when i went to upgrade to windows 11 I can't enter secure boot and I tried talking to the owners of my motherboard and they said it might be a drive issue so I wanted to know if anyone else is having this issue. (P.s if it is a drive issue I do have other drives to install windows on but I was just wondering if it is possible to enable secure boot on this drive) for the price though I am not complaining if I can't get this to work.

Bricked after 6 months

I used this to store pictures because my wife takes thousands! Anyways my drive bricked after about 6 months. Unless this company at least replaces the hardware, ill never buy from western digital again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WB Blue SATA SSD is of very Poor Quality

Though the support people were friendly in their talks but no solution was given other than seeking another replacement. I wanted a refund as my trust on WB Blue SSD had been completely eroded. But WD declined saying that's not company's policy. So, I had to bear the loss for reselling the drive to the reseller.
That's when I decided to switch to other company for better reliability and performance as WD Blue SATA SSD failed in both in my case, as I didn't wanted to take any further risks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
