MOUNT ONLY - DOES NOT CHARGE

When the title says "with MagSafe" I assume that means it charges - my bad. The description should clearly indicate that it's not a CHARGER. I'm not interested in "cable management", I'm interested in replacing an existing (non belkin) wireless car charger that causes my phone to heat up to 100 degrees, and as this is merely an overpriced phone holder, this will sadly be getting returned

NOT a wireless charger... MOUNT ONLY

I had 4 of these in my cart until reading the reviews and discovering what was laying in the back of my mind. To find I also have to plug it in to charge made it a non-starter. Gregory, you invited someone else with my exact concern to feel free to do what they need... don’tbuy/use it. I too was seduced by use of “MagSafe” with no disclaimer that it was magnet only, not a MagSafe “charger”. I stand with others that your literature is misleading and you owe it to your customers to prominently state “No Wireless Charging Capability” ... just as prominent as the fact of “MagSafe” itself. I am certain your current campaign and literature will drive potential customers away... I know as a long time Belkin fan I am not on notice to assume something important is missing. This is just one guy’s opinion... do your research and see how many agree with me.

MagSafe mount with NO charging

Bought 3 of these and regret it. They have no way to provide charging thru MagSafe (which is the purpose of MagSafe)@.

Belkin is just using magnet to hold phone but not charge. Never expected this from Belkin, they should add charging port and replace them all.

Regrettably would not recommend overly expensive magnet with no charging

Doesn’t Work

Really disappointing - it will not stay in the vents of my Tesla S and falls out with the slightest bump. This product doesn’t work as advertised - not worth it.

Absolute Rubbish

I bought this to go on the vent of my 2017 Holden Colorado, which has vertical vents, as soon as I attached my phone to the mount, the mount flopped down & slipped off the vent!! ( My phone is in a Mag Safe case bought from apple) I followed all the instructions but couldn’t get it to stay on.
My husband had the bright idea of drilling a hole through the mount & cable tying it to the vent, which holds the mount on, but when driving it flops side to side, then I drove over a small bump in the road and my brand new! Phone fell off the mounting pad!!!!!, magnet not strong enough & mounting system isn’t strong enough, Not happy at all!, looks pretty but as far as functionality goes it’s a joke.
I do not recommend!.

The mount works best on horizontal vent slats due to how they work in holding items. It could be that the mount is not properly locked into the vent due to its design. Great product

People need to understand what they are buying before they buy it lol, this is the best product on the market for what it is. It’s called a MagSafe vent mount, no MagSafe product will work without a MagSafe case. Get a MagSafe case and that will solve your problems. Best phone mount I’ve ever had, so glad I don’t have to use those stupid magnet plates anymore.
I would recommend this to a friend!
