Great design but....

I preordered this on the first round and I have to say that the build quality is exceptional. It holds the iPhone 12PM perfectly. My issue is that for the high price cost for this device it should do more. At the VERY MINIMUM it should be able to charge your device via the MagSafe feature which it does not. This is very disappointing! For that reason alone I cannot recommend this device at its price point. I would absolutely be willing to review a V2 of this device but V1 is not worth the purchase.

Finally a car MagSafe that actually works

I have wasted so much money on finding wireless chargers for the car. Either they didn’t charge but a trickle, didn’t hold the phone, or had to be awkwardly placed in the car. The grip on this BELKIN MAGSAFE CAR VENT MOUNT PRO-ZML is firm and helps you seat the phone squarely. It grips the vent in my Ford 2015 Explorer very easily. My only wish was that it could be powered and charge my phone while it’s holding it. I just plug the lightening cable in instead.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stays on the phone, but not in the vent

The clips that are supposed to stay in the vent do not clip. So it slowly falls down, and after a few bumps my phone is on the ground. This is made worse by the fact that my vents can move in any direction.

Their is no way to make it stay in the vent when removing the phone the rubber pieces are to soft to stay put

Works only for 10 months

It only works for about 10 months or so, and then the magnet becomes extremely weak. My phone falls off the magnet when ever I go over the slightest bump. It's great when it was working, but now there's no point because it never works.

If you have a cover for your phone this one will not work properly if no cover it hold much better.

Great, but have a little concern

It can hold my phone steadily and I am pretty satisfied with it.
But I have quite a concern that can it cause damages to my car vent in long-term use?
I think it's quite heavy for a car vent (My phone + Phone case + Belkin Car Vent Total weight are around 400 g)

Complete garbage!!!

I bought this for use with my iPhone 14 pro max and the whole thing flew out of my car vent on the very first turn. This CANNOT take the weight of the full size phones because there is nothing securing it to the vent louvers. No hook, nothing. Returning it today!!!
