Good, but could be better

Not compatible with all vents, the vent clip was a bit thick and the weight will pull down looser vents. Would have been better if there was a non-vent option.

The Belkin WIC002 is designed to work with vehicle's vent slats of up to 3 mm in thickness and of up to 20 mm in depth. The vent mount works best with straight, horizontal vent slats, but can also work with vertical vent slats. When using with a vertical vent slat, the mount may move slightly if the mount is overloaded with weight. Does not work

I just received this product today. I was not able to use the product with a case at all with an iPhone 12 Max Pro. Took the case off and it held. If you hit a speed bump in the parking lot and it fell to the floor. Weak Mag Safe implementation. Do not buy.

I really want to love it, but...

I drive a Jeep and Jeeps have round vents that rotate in every direction. The weight of the phone on this mount causes it to rotate downward no matter how it is attached. I wish this had come with some alternative mounting method like most mounts. It could have been perfect but it falls short. After waiting for over 5 months it's a disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't work with all vent types

Bought this today and immediately thought it was pretty heavy for vents. My truck has the round vents and it just doesn't stay in place. On a short trip to the store it fell twice.The first time the entire mount came off the vent and in trying adjust the angles to get it to stay then the phone falls off the magnet. Looks great and the quality is good. Just not meant for my vehicle.

The mount works best on horizontal vent slats due to how they work in holding items. It could be that the mount is not properly locked into the vent due to its design. No magnetic stick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this because the one we had previously seemed to fall apart really fast. I was super disappointed when I mounted it and then tried to place my phone on it. I don't know if maybe my phone is just too big but the mount did not hold AT ALL. It just slides off as if there is no magnetism.

Does not hold my phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, the magnet is not strong enough to hold my phone. I tried all kinds of configurations: with a case, without a case, tilting it more, but nothing helped hold the phone. I've used many Belking products before, so I really like the brand....it's just that this product didn't help me with my phone.
