Best Christmas Gift

Love how it’s MagSafe feature allows me to use it with my iPhone without having to buy a plate or attach another component to my phone - allowing me to keep both functionality and design aesthetic. Very impressive product

The magnet is very strong and hold my phone with a case with no problems at all. Will be purchasing a second vent mount for my wife’s car.

The Elegance of Simplicity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't take long see this vent holder excels in the simplicity of its design. It is straightforward with what it does without trying to be everything else. No clamps, clips or knobs. Just a simple magnet making the best use of the Apple MagSafe design to include magnetics as a new feature.
In my experience this works best with an Apple MagSafe Case. I tried four very thin non-Apple cases and it wanted to work, but the magnetic attraction was not quite strong enough. But, with an Apple MagSafe case or without a case at all, it worked very well.
I took it on a quick tour of quick turns, trying to dislodge it. But, it held on tight. Used it several weeks and had no issues with the Vent Mount staying put or holding the iPhone where I put it. I was excited to see this come out and even more so after I used it.

Didn’t think I would like it as much!!

Magsafe Mount, simple and stylish design and funct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple, sleek and attractive design with a quality appearance that fits fight in with the car. This Magsafe magnetic mount grabs the iPhone solidly and holds it firmly in either vertical or horizontal position.
Installation is simple, align the silicon grippers with your car vent slats and press for a firm fit. Pull it firmly you can remove it for use in any vehicle you're in.
Its not a charger but if you use a wired charger, it allows you to feed the cable into the mount to hold it in out of the way.
Light to the feel and made to look like aluminum, the fit and finish leave me expecting this to last as long as I have the iPhone 12 and beyond.

Solid build, but no built-in charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some of the newer iPhones now feature built-in magnets in the back of the phone. This is what Apple calls MagSafe. In the old days, if you wanted to have a mount in your car where you could easily attach/detach your phone with magnets, you needed to add clumsy magnets into your phone's case that would often caused bulges. Now, Apple has built those magnets right into their newest phones. But, these magnets are arranged in a very precise way, and thus you will need a specialized MagSafe holder for these new phones. Belkin is one of the first to offer such holder. This product, the "Car Vent Mount Pro with MagSafe" is a very well-built product. Although it looks metallic, it is made out of high-quality plastic to keep it light so it won't fall out of your vent. The plastic "grips/tongs" that hold onto your car's vents are also strong and seem like they will last a long time. The holder can be rotated from vertical to horizontal, and there is enough tension there that it will stay firmly in either position. Also, the pad onto which you place your phone is large enough that it will block hot air from the vents int the winter from reaching your phone. The only disappointment is that this holder does not come with built-in wireless charging, especially given its "PRO" moniker. If you want to charge your phone while it is in this holder, you will need to plug it in. Belkin leaves a space in the back of the holder where you can neatly wrap your charging cable and it will be held in place when you are not using it. The works very well. I knew this product did not have built-in charging capabilities when I got it, but I still wonder why they affixed the "PRO" name to essentially a simple (but very well built) car phone mount.
