A secure, sturdy mount that works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I was concerned about how well this would work with my new iPhone 12 Pro. I am happy to say it's exceeded my expectations in terms of stability. Driving even over a bumpy road today, there was no hint of the phone - which clicks in via the magnet (and an odd 'click' sounds that makes me believe there are moving parts in there?) - coming out! Super sturdy, yet easy enough to remove (with 2 hands) without inadvertently pulling the whole thing out. Mounting in my vents (BMW) took moment to get right - your mileage may vary depending on car.
It's well made (plastic, but I don't mind that). And yes, it doesn't charge but I wasn't looking for a charger only a mount. As such, it is a great (if a little pricey) buy I heartily recommend.

Really great design and a small footprint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have about 3 different car mounts, this is by far the nicest looking with the easiest way to clip to the car vent. I do wish you could also plug it in so it would also charge the device, but understand that probably would require the mount to be larger and more cumbersome. It's really a nice sized mount, and definitely looks very much like something Apple would have designed

First Magsafe Mount To Be Released

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Belkin's MagSafe Car Vent Mount Pro is the first MagSafe mount to be released. I really like the strong MagSafe connection, the rotating and pivoting ball head, and the silver appearance. The vent clip feels very strong. I wish it was made of metal and it would be awesome if it actually charged my iPhone while it was clipped on.

Great mount for the 12 pro max

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this vent a week ago, and have been using it since. I tried different air vents to put it in the car, and found the larger horizontal air vents make a good fit for it. The mount has rubber pincher grips that hold onto the plastic struts on your vent. I put it in the vent to the right of my steering wheel for ease of use. I like it because you can change the orientation from vertical to horizontal. I used mine in the horizontal position to make it easier to see the gps maps for navigation. I have an iPhone 12 pro max, and the mount held the phone securely during normal driving, and sharp corners. The phone has a surpassingly sturdy grip to the mount via the MagSafe magnets. I was able to put on and off the phone with ease, the mount stayed in its place well. I think it’s a good product for cars that have large enough vents for the mount and a 12 pro max phone, and seems to be well engineered for the MagSafe iPhones, and I believe it’s a good value for the price.

Great car vent iPhone mount

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this vent mount for about a week. I have a 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and the dashboard vent has vertical fins for directing air horizontally and a single fin for directing air up and down. The single up and down fin works perfectly for attaching the car vent mount and it allows room for the iPhone to sit comfortably. (see photos). It as so easy to attach my iPhone 12 Pro in its Apple Mag Mount case. I can easily rotate the iPhone to a horizontal, landscape, configuration without accidentally detaching the mount from the vent. It has not fallen off the vent and it holds on to the vent fin very securely.
There is a channel on the base of the mount that holds a charging cable securely which is great to keep your phone charged as well as allow for CarPlay use. The unit is built well and feels very solid as if it was made of metal instead of a strong plastic. I'm really happy with it.

Way sturdier than it seems at first.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first it didn’t seem like the magnet was going to be strong enough to hold whilst driving over the bumpy, poorly paved roads in my neighborhood, but honestly it grips the phone really well and has yet to become detached in use. The bulkier panel containing the magnet also helps to keep the phone upright as it gives it some heft to rest against the vent. This is probably the best vent mount I’ve tried.

Fits perfectly with a iPhone 12 Pro Max and creates a strong grip, both with the phone’s back and the car’s vent. It is very sturdy and I am not afraid of it dropping the phone even on bumpy roads. Love it!
