Samsung finally checked all the boxes. I have been super impressed with this watch. It fits my wrist perfectly, has a vibrant screen and I love the new bands and connections. Only downside is I have to buy all new bands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost the best smart watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the watch 5 pro, almost everything has been improved upon. The screen is clearer, the watch is faster, more storage, the addition of samsung wallet, health/sleep monitoring has improved, and an easy to use short cut button. The only downside I've seen is the battery life but samsung developers have said they are working on a fix. With the addition if galaxy AI, health monitoring and tracking has improved drastically and as an added bonus, sleep tracking seems to be more responsive and accurate.
First of all...changing watch bands is officially fun! The watch is husky but light. I appreciate the large display and ease of use. Still trying to set up my Samsung wallet, once in place it will be a game changer. This was truly an investment and will be the watch I wear a majority of the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgrade from the Watch 5 Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new Ultra, do wish it had Samsung Notes on the watch, my S9 Ultra and my S24 Ultra all have it and I use it. Otherwise I did grab a clear case and screen protector and the trail band. I did get a huge discount with trade in and pre-order. The retail price is hefty IMO. I do like the new bands and hopefully I can reuse these when I upgrade later. It looked really bulky online and in pics. But not bad at all. It's smooth and fast and Galaxy AI works great with it if you use Bixby. In the past I usually didn't bother to ask the watch questions as my phone was easier. Now I did activate the watch with cell service and can do so many things now without dragging my phone or taking it out to do or look up something.
I had reservations about the size of the watch when I submitted my order. Those reservations quickly fell to the wayside once I had the watch on my wrist though. It is a large watch, but it doesn't really matter once you see it on your arm. The style and fashion of the watch quickly makes size a moot point. Size doesn't matter because the quality of the device is amazing. Battery life is amazing! Even with all the applications that I am running, I easily get two days of use on a charge. If I wanted to push it, I could get three full days. I'm not sure about the cost of it though, but the trade-in program softened that blow for me. It is easily worth the money that I had to invest in it. Simply put, the watch is amazing!
I love the dial and first look impressed me . I need to explore more functionality. till now it is exceptional

After trying for over a week and going back and fourth between Tmobile and Samsung, my watch ultra is finally activated as a standalone watch! Both Tmobile and Samsung need to figure out a more efficient way to allow the watch to operate as standalone. Samsung says the watch is standalone, Tmobile continues to tell customers no Samsung watch manufactured after 2018 will work as standalone ( yet they advertise standalone plans). Anywhere, Tmobile finally figured it out and my watch now fully functions as standalone ( as it should, as advertised). I am enjoying the watch, thus far. Samsung, please have a meeting with Tmobile
