I've been a smartwatch user for years, but the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra has truly redefined my expectations. Living in Fort Mohave, where the elements can be a bit harsh, I needed a watch that could keep up with my active lifestyle and the desert heat, and this watch absolutely delivers!
First off, the design is stunning and incredibly robust. The 47mm titanium case feels premium yet incredibly durable. I've accidentally bumped it a few times against rocks and doorframes, and the sapphire crystal display hasn't a scratch. It's built to withstand extreme temperatures and even offers 10ATM water resistance, which is fantastic for everything from poolside lounging to more adventurous activities around the Colorado River. The square-ish design with the circular display is a unique and appealing aesthetic that really stands out.
The display itself is a marvel. The 1.5-inch Super AMOLED screen is incredibly bright, hitting up to 3,000 nits, which means even under the blazing Fort Mohave sun, I can clearly see all my notifications and stats. Colors are vibrant, and the details are razor-sharp.
Performance is lightning-fast and buttery smooth. Powered by the new Exynos W1000 processor and running Wear OS with One UI Watch 6, navigating through apps, checking health metrics, and responding to messages is completely lag-free. Although I must admit, I was a little disappointed when the physical bezel was excluded from the design, the extra button on the side, among with it's Galaxy AI features make the device amazing in daily life, enhancing nearly every aspect of it!

Loving the new upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I upgraded from my Watch 5 to an Ultra. First and foremost, the watch looks and feels bulkier and more premium. The dial being much larger is so good to read and it feels like a completely different watch altogether.
I am still figuring out Galaxy AI features on Thai, but so far I am loving the experience. The battery lasts much longer now and the white watch looks so cool on me.
I use the watch for tracking my ECG, and for tracking my walking workouts.

Good features, average battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the watch ultra extensively for tracking my workouts as well as throughout the day to monitor various health parameters. The features provided on the watch are great. I also use the watch extensively with samsung pay.
However, the battery remains a big concern on samsung devices, especially the watches. I have owned almost all the generations of samsung watches which have been released from time to time, and in each of these the battery charge has always been a concern. It is quite cumbersome to charge the watch everyday.
I would like to see how Galaxy AI can be deployed on samsung watch models. Have not experienced it so far.
Also, the limited designs of the watch faces available for samsung watches is another issue. The screen brightness, resolution, etc. on samsung watch ultra is nothing compared to an apple watch or for that matter even a Huawei watch.

A smart and versatile machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a smartwatch, it measures various components of one's health. The information it provided helped convince my doctor to give me an unique sleep study which helped my health.
It versatility means being able to read important text messages and emails on your watch plus make short responses without having to pick up and open your phone. Like the Samsung phone, the watch is able to fulfill many voice commands and one can answer their phone on their watch just like many of us saw in cartoons as children.

The galaxy ultra seven did exactly what I needed. In addition, I found out it is so much more valuable for others issues as well.Such as exercise, I do walking, such as getting email and text messages.It's a great resource. I'm looking for the new ultra, twenty twenty five, so I can see how "GALAXY AI" works.
