[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New Galaxy Ultra looks big but feels small. Solid construction should result in long life. So far battery looks great, although i never had an issue with my old S3 model. I am finding this watch a little more complex than my old one, but so far everything has been easy to resolve and fix. Seamless connection to phone apps makes setup easy. Not a fan of the orange band, but options are available. BTW, love the easy attachment of bands on the Ultra. Overall, i am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

Best of both worlds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some people like the square watches some people like the round watches. With the right case like my rugged armor you can't even tell the watch is square. So it still looks round but has all the room of the square. For that, extra battery life and additional functions, like seamless actions across apps which I love, it's a big leap from the 5. With customizations, the only downside is the watch Faces. You can only get watch Faces from Google. Which was a hard pill to swallow at first, but I hope they get it straightened out. I miss having a different watch face every day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded from my Galaxy S3 watch to this Ultra, and I didn't know I was missing out on so much. These watches are far more capable than several generations ago. The screen is brighter and more vibrant. The watch runs so smoothly, whether switching between apps or checking messages and notifications; every transition is just so smooth. I love the health features and how integrated they are and easily accessible on your phone as well. They make it so seemless to switch between your watch and phone. The tiles work great as well, being able to check things with a quick glance. And the quick button makes tracking my steps a quick and easy push button away. I'm completely blown away by my new watch. It's a definite recommended upgrade for anyone in the market.

Its battery life is impressive, and it boasts many features; however, battery drain is accelerated when using these features, and there are several glitches. For example, when the alarm rings while the watch is locked, it must be turned off to function correctly. Overall, it could have been better, but at least its appearance is attractive.

Watch is fragile, rugged it is not

This is a good watch in a lot of ways, but that's not what this review is about - this is about how fragile this watch is. I've had it for less than a week, and it's taken more damage than my galaxy watch 4 classic did in 2 years.
I slipped on some grease at work and fell against a wall. When I looked down, the frame of the watch has been noticeably scratched up, including a scratch on the screen. This is supposed to be a rugged, hardy watch for all occasions, especially things like outings in extreme conditions. It will not survive harsh treatment. For the price of the watch, a big part of which is supposed to be for how hardy it supposedly is, this is not just disappointing but outrageous.
The only reason I don't rate it even lower is because at least the watch works well. But paying this price only for the first incident in less than a week to damage it is infuriating.
