Unfortunately in real life not only does the watch look way worse than the Galaxy Watches that I have but it's not even an upgrade technologically... It's basically the same... And cost almost 3x the price. So disappointing

I bought this as an upgrade to my watch for because I was never happy with the Sleep monitoring performance. This one was way worse! Absolutely useless for tracking sleep. Samsung should focus more on getting things right versus getting things to market.

I do not like it. Bought this one because my Samsung watch 5 started to freeze, lag, and wouldn’t hold a charge anymore. My older watches worked way better than this one though. Never had any issues. This new watch is a piece of junk. I’ve tried resetting it, removing it from my app then reading it, tried turn off and on the setting adjustments… just for whatever reason I cannot get notifications onto the watch. I expected so much better being that this is the newest watch with my older watch working great I figured the latest watch would be even cooler. Troubleshooted with Samsung and they wanted me to send it in for repair but I doubt it’ll work being that this is just how the watch has been since receiving it. Notifications work for a few hours then it’s back to being useless. Pretty much bought an expensive watch to tell the time during my work day.

The Watch Ultra uses improved heart rate monitoring to personalize training for optimal results tailored to you. If you want continuous heart rate monitoring, you can set your smartwatch or fitness band to measure your heart rate continuously. Here are the steps to access the heart rate settings in the Samsung Health app on your watch:
For Wear OS models: 1. Navigate to and open Samsung Health on your watch. 2. Swipe to the bottom of the screen, then tap Settings. 3. Tap Heart rate.
For previous smartwatch models: 1. Press the Home key (Power key) on the watch. 2. Navigate to and tap Samsung Health. 3. Swipe to and tap Heart rate, then swipe to the bottom of the screen. 4. Tap HR and stress measurement or Auto HR settings.
For Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit2: 1. On the connected phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. 2. Tap Health settings. 3. Tap Auto heart rate settings.
For Gear Fit2 and Gear Fit2 Pro: 1. Press the Power key on the watch. 2. Swipe to and tap Auto HR.

I had high hopes for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, expecting a premium smartwatch that would enhance my daily life with top-notch features and performance. Unfortunately, this watch fails to deliver on all fronts. Right from the start, I found it uncomfortably heavy on my wrist, making it impractical for extended wear. In an era where smartwatches are designed for convenience and usability, the absence of a rotating bezel only compounds the frustration, making navigation feel clunky and tedious.
Moreover, I was disappointed to discover that the sensors are often inaccurate, frequently displaying data that does not align with reality. For a device marketed as "ultra," I assumed it would prioritize precision and reliability, but it seems the focus was more on adding flashy features rather than perfecting the existing ones. The user interface is painfully slow, making it a chore to access the functions I need quickly. It's frustrating to see a product with so much potential fall short because of these fundamental issues.
Battery life is another significant drawback, as it drains far too quickly for a watch meant to accompany me throughout the day. With all these shortcomings, I believe the manufacturer needs to shift its focus from adding more features to enhancing accuracy and optimizing performance. The Galaxy Watch Ultra could have been a game-changer, but instead, it feels like a missed opportunity. I can only give it 1 star and hope that future iterations will address these critical flaws.
