Durable, useful everywhere, tracks activities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waterproof, durable, beautiful watch. Place and receive phone calls. Detects events which may need emergency assistance. Galaxy AI can search and summarize subject results. I love having my watch track workouts. Also shows my quality of sleep.

Not a good replacement for Garmin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I transitioned to Samsung after 5 years in Garmin. I tried the Watch5 Pro and got the Watch Ultra when it was released. After nearly a year of compromise and a PBA failure after a recent update, I finally had enough. The claimed battery life of 4 days was barely tolerable in comparison but never really got more than about 2.5 days, even when compromising my settings to have the screen off until I press a button. I use my watches to track various sports, walking, steps, and often do HR based workouts. The Samsung Ultra is completely unreliable as a fitness tracker doing anything more vigorous than light walking. This flagship has Bluetooth, but developers have failed to allow a simple external HR sensor, even after this 7th generation. The exclusive shortcut button doesn't help this watch, as it can only perform one assigned function; it should have a rotating crown to select from other shortcuts.
I had enjoyed being able to take a call directly through the device, and loved the AMOLED display. When I discovered Garmin's Fenix 8 had an LED screen, external speaker/mic and LED flashlight, I stated to consider it.
Galaxy AI wasn't very impressive, and I opted to use Google's version instead.
The PBA failure after update, dismal HR tracking during workouts, false battery life claims and limited shortcuts drive me back into the loving arms of Garmin.

Great Watch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not really noticing the galaxy Ai features in my watch. It seems be doing what it should be doing with or without Ai.
The measurements for bmi are very finicky and constantly fail which is annoying. Talk to speech can use some work.

Great watch, battery life is over one day!

This is a HORRIBLE watch. Battery lasts less than a day, GPS accuracy is really bad, and really an overall disappointment. One reason you would get the ultra version is because of its fitness features but WHY? ask yourself this - if you go on a hike more than a few hours, prepare to carry a portable charger with you. Yeah, and if you're a long distance triathlete or a long distance runner - this watch is completely useless. Save yourself the money and the headache - get a Garmin.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Galaxy Watch Ultra – Comfortable Enough to Sleep I

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing the Galaxy Watch Ultra for a week now, and I’m seriously impressed. I’ve never been able to sleep with a watch on before, but this one is comfortable enough that I forget it’s even there at night. The sleep tracking is super detailed, and it’s been cool to see my sleep patterns and get tips to improve them.
I use the watch all day for tracking steps, heart rate, and workouts, and all the stats are easy to understand. Notifications from my S25 Ultra come through right away, so I never miss a call or text. Battery life easily lasts through a full day and night, even with all the tracking turned on.
The watch isn’t bulky, looks good, and feels solid. I use it for quick replies to messages, checking maps, and controlling music when I’m out and about. The Galaxy AI features and voice assistant actually make things easier, not more complicated.
If you’re looking for a smartwatch that just fits into your life and you can even sleep in it, I definitely recommend the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

This watch does everything it says it can flawlessly, all the while maintaining superior looks. This is my 3rd watch and my hats off to Samsung for really knocking this one out the park. 6 months in and I'm still in love with this one. Extremely well done Samsung.
