Nice watch overall but have had some issues. One of them is that I received a rogue text that was a group chat on Samsung Messaging. I do not know any of the contacts in the group, and it showed only on my watch messages, and could not see it on my phone Samsung Message app. That gives me little confidence in the privacy of both the watch and Samsung Messaging. Also, I have found the compass to be extremely untrustworthy.

We noted your concerns about the messages that are appearing on your watch but not on your phone, as well as your concerns about privacy in Samsung Messaging. For situations like this, we recommend reconnecting your watch with your phone. Check out the link provided for instructions on how to do so. Regarding the compass accuracy, we suggest calibrating the compass. To calibrate the Samsung Compass app, follow these steps: Step 1. Navigate to and open the Samsung Compass app on your Galaxy Watch. Step 2. Swipe to and tap Calibrate. Step 3. Follow the onscreen instructions to calibrate your watch. Note: To ensure a successful calibration, step away from any magnetic sources, such as a wireless charger, and take off your D-Buckle Sport band. The app will not function correctly if calibrated incorrectly. We hope these steps help improve your experience with your Galaxy Watch Ultra. Great so far, hope to see more AI open up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the watch as soon as available and received it ahead of schedule. I'm very impressed with the watch so far and the more tricks and traits I find out about it the more I love it! Battery life is much better than my previous watch and even though I haven't been able to install some of my previous watch faces the ones that are unique to the Ultra more than make up for that! I'm not a super workout freak but still find all of the health features extremely helpful!! I am still learning the Galaxy AI features but love what I've seen so far!! I am looking forward to more possibilities being released as they are perfected and still comparing some features such as blood pressure, ecg, and O2 stats with other sources but this far they are right on!! Hopefully they will keep the features coming!!!

I decided to upgrade my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Spec wise the Galaxy Watch Ultra is a huge upgrade. Its a lot snappier, and the display looks better. I still prefer the simpler look of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. My biggest disappointment is the trail band. I had the Samsung nylon band for my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, and it was great. I was hoping the trail band would be similar, but unfortunately it isn't. The material is a lot rougher, and the ridges leave marks on your wrist. I hope at some point Samsung decides to make a simple nylon band for the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Missing one thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the watch 6 classic. I am currently using the trail band with the Ultra watch. It feels softer on the wrist. The battery life of the watch last a good 48hrs before it needs to be recharged. Apps and function are pretty much the same as the watch 6 classic. The one thing I wished they kept was the moving bezel. Changing the watch bands are really easy.
