I use this watch as my everyday watch from business to casual to fitness. It does it all. I highly recommend this watch!

It's alright, not ground breaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who routinely looks towards new tech toys, I was excited to swap out my Watch 5 Pro with the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Similar to swapping my S22 to the he S24 Ultra I wanted to see what Galaxy AI features might be ported into the watch. So far nothing AI has been added into the watch for user access, however the telemetry of the new sensors help predict, with a grain of salt, similar to Garmin's body battery.
The case is a little more bulky, not that much more in the weight department. And TBH, I don't use all the whizbang features and go with a more minimalist approach. I need to turn on workout tracking and general body tracking when I need it. I don't use AOD and with other other always on features such as Bixby and Google Assistant (currently has an issue draining battery) turned off with the display brightness turned down, I'm seeing the same battery life as before. About 3ish days of use. I workout 5x a week, 30-45 min mostly calisthenics and body weight focused so I use the "other workout" or "stretching" as my primary. I have it monitoring for walks and rowing, but it doesn't pickup walks since the last update.
If you don't need the multi sport or other stuff and don't have a great trade, I'd stay with the larger 7 and skip this unit. If you are looking solely for fitness and don't care about messages or notifications, Garmin makes a far superior product, or Suunto.

This year I was so pleased with the design change and the snapper response of this watch the new Galaxy AI features. Adding additional sensors help keep my heart monitoring even through my toughest workouts. Also I love brightness in sun making it easy to see. Great watch highly recommend.
