I should have gotten it sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really don’t know why I waited so long to get this television the picture and sound quality is great I’m so happy with it in fact I decided to go ahead and order a sound bar a few days later to get that whole theater sound and feel,if you’re thinking about buying this TV go ahead and do it you won’t regret it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our Samsung for streaming and movies. We also use it for music a lot as it’s located in the living room that opens up to the kitchen and with the smart features and voice commands has become a part of our dining experience as well

Samsung is still the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded my old Samsung plasma that I had forever to this model. It’s amazing, with a crisp sharp bright picture that highlights tons of colors. It also has a thin sleek design that looks great mounted on the wall. I don’t have cable but the tv comes equipped with all the apps that I use for streaming, and if they don’t have it you just go to the App Store and download it. Highly recommend, Samsung is still top of the food chain with TVs.

Vivid intense color

Great brightness, perfect for my living room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV mostly for watching 4k movies and YouTube. Every now and then, I'll play some XBox One X games on it. The main challenge I deal with is how bright my living room is. The entire 28 foot back wall is nothing but windows. Even with the blinds down there's a crazy amount of sunlight lighting up the room. So, brightness is important to me. Without brightness, I can't see the TV in the day time hours. This TV excels at that. It's plenty bright, and the colors are really good. Some really picky people would probably point out that the blacks aren't as deep as some TV's, and I would say is accurate. However, it matters very little if you're using the TV in a well lit living room like I am.

TV has a small triangle on the screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Also when unboxed there was a bar code sticker glued right to the screen. Don't know how to remove the glue residue without hurting screen. I don;y know whoto contact with these issues.

Thank you for choosing the Samsung 55” Q80A and sharing your experience. Please check that you have removed the protective film covering the TV screen. It is possible that the triangle image you are reporting is imprinted on the protective film.

Please be aware that not all TVs come with a protective film. If there is a protective film on your screen, it will be indicated with a blue tab in the upper left corner. The tab will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film. If you do not have a blue tab in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen.

If you tried removing the film and only removed the blue tab, then please affix a piece of adhesive tape to where the blue tab was and try removing the film again.

If you have checked that there is no protective film and are still seeing the triangle or barcode on the screen, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG so we can further assist you.
