excellent image quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the product like all of Samsung in general are very good. and what I love the most are its panels or contrast that give true colors and a real black background. if the black background is, you don't know if the tv is on or off. I recommend it

Great picture and quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The remote, the on screen menus and picture is great but needed a sound bar. On occasion sound bar loses connectivity and it switches to TV speakers. My only complaint but overall great purchase. Shortly purchased a 65" because I was so happy with 55".

Thank you for choosing Samsung’s Q80A TV and for sharing the issues you are experiencing with connected devices. Please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1805.4 which includes input device performance updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

Should your issue persist, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has a sleak design. Smart apps are nearly seamless. Streaming is quick, and rarely, if ever, have we had to wait for it to buffer. The user interfaces for the TV and connection to other devices, i.e. sound bars and mobile devices is incredibly easy.
Sound is pretty good on its own, connected to a sound bar, well... hard to compare and hardly fair. The screen itself, I was blown away by the clarity in comparison to our old TV. Night and Day difference in overlook. I had to grab a 4k movie and look at the difference as reference. Didn't have any idea how much I was missing.
I would definitely recommend this TV to everyone.

Great TV. Some small irks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this TV for about a year. It has a great picture with a myriad of settings and adjustments. The setup was very simple taking the complexity of settings into account. The number of apps included and available is super. It has networking which works really well and has network security built in. The remote control is simple and easy to get used to.
My one nit to pick is that when I turn the system on - I have dish network and a Denon tuner/amp connected - the Denon does not come power up. It does turn off with the system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i use the TV for everyday use, love the clarity of the picture and Bluetooth options and mirroring options to connect it to my phone. Samsung TV's never failed me before, i still have older TV and still works since 2008. Great products Samsung.
