QLED 85" Q80A is Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went to get an 80" Samsung QLED and found this 85" instead. It has amazing colors, vivid and crisp picture. When we walk into an electronic store with several TV's running, it is easy to compare pics side by side. I always gravitate to and choose the Samsung. Their pictures are just so clear!
The QLED has many options, we like this one because is it full array. If you don't know what that is, google the options and do the research. It makes a difference when you see them side by side.

Good picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV picture is great but the Samsung software is lacking a good deal. There are still some flaws in the software that for example when I turn on my TV my receiver will not turn on. However when I shut off the TV my receiver does shut off. Additionally there’s quite a bit of apps not available on the Samsung TV.

Good tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went into the store looking for a new tv because my old one the back light went out. i was planning on getting a new one when i moves but time ran put. i am technical person and so i knew what i wanted. my current was a 50 and i wanted bugger the 65 was considerably more money so i didnt for that one. i jnew i wanted bright, good local dimming for good HDR, and finally a 4k resolution. Its not as good as OLED gets but this is much brighter then OLED gets. over alli very happy with it.

Bad Local Dimming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Isp panel was not good. Personally to bright for a average living room. The black zones especially on wide movies were way to bright to watch with the lights off. returned my TV and bought a LG OLED C1.

So easy to use!

In addition, the picture is fantastic. Clarity and color like we hadn't seen before.

The picture is very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV for TV only, I am very happy with the picture which is the reason I purchased this particular model. I was amazed at the thinness of the set. The only thing I have a slight problem with is that it goes on and off a few times when you start watching it. Once you are passed that there aren't any problems. I would have liked to have given it 4 - 1/2 stars but did not see a way to do that. I am sure I will like the TV more when I learn to use the Netflix and HBO features. I would recommend this TV to anyone, and Wow what a difference from the TV's when I was a child.
