While I love the idea of the magnetic wallet, it doesn’t hold onto the back of the mag safe otter case as well as it should. It slides when you push a card into the slots and it pops if you drop your phone. You also need to remove it if you want to use the MagSafe car mount.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Given the material that would then be set between the magnets of your iPhone and a car mount, it does make sense that you'd have to remove the OtterBox Wallet for MagSafe. But the piece shouldn't come off so easily when merely inserting cards into the slots, so let's take it from the top with a brand-new warranty replacement to see if there is just something wonky with your particular unit.

It does NOT interact with MagSafe technology

The features section states, “ Designed for seamless interaction with MagSafe technology.” IT DOES NOT INTERACT WITH MAGSAFE TECHNOLOGY! It only sticks to the back of the iPhone. This is deceptive wording by OtterBox.

This accessory is only designed to hold 2-3 cards at a time, but the magnet should be strong enough to stick well to your MagSafe case! Are you using one of our MagSafe cases? If not, we do not test our products with third party items, so we cannot guarantee that our Wallet for MagSafe will work well with a third party case.
