[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is small compared to my 10 year old Hoover with the multiple spinning brushes and larger water tanks. When it comes to cleaning rugs the PowerDash is much better. I especially noticed cleaner rugs in the doorways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works as well as any shampooer and it's compact. I do wish it had a place to attach the hose when not in use. The solution that came with it did do a good job deoderizing and the carpet was plush and soft when it dried out and typically I noticed that most shampooers will leave carpet stuff feeling. After about two weeks it's still looking good too. Only one real problem I had was there wasn't a good Way to know for sure if you had the top tank sealed and it was spilling out everywhere but once I did the suction is really good so it was not a big deal. Just had two pit puppies for guests and they weren't potty trained so just in time thanks so much for the opportunity to test out the power dash pet advanced carpet shampooer.

I would not buy this product again

The one time I was able to use this it seemed ok. The second time, the spring in the lid to the clean water tank and the small seal that holds it in place started popping out. This causes the cleaner to Not Release Water. I have attempted to put the spring and seal back in place but it keeps doing the same thing. At this point the spring popped out and I couldn't find it and I have gotten so frustrated I have given up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been 5 years since my carpet was cleaned. Potty training kids, house training pets and a cat that pukes everywhere, plus all the normal food and drink spills and dirt from outside carried in on shoes. The vacuum just wasn't cutting it in terms of cleanliness. This carpet cleaner is light weight, easy to use and did a fantastic job of making my carpet look almost new again without the cost of a carpet cleaning service. It's great for spot cleaning as well as whole room cleaning. I'm almost ready to try it on my furniture and my vehicle carpets. The only thing I wish was different is I wish it had a longer power cord. The one on it is good enough for a whole room though.
