Cleans well but breaks easily

My family has gone through two of these in less than a year. Both units burned out after very little use. The cleaning was satisfactory but not worth replacing a unit every other time it is used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For this price point, I could not find anything else comparable that had all of the features of PowerDash. I love how light it is as well as the ease of emptying, refilling, and cleaning the machine. The upholstery attachment is wonderful and worked great on stairs too.

I did my research online but I always use Consumer Report(CR) Magazine.They had this Hoover's model on top of their list and CR has never let me down...and they didn't let me down this time! First time I used in our walk-in closet where some reason our dog to pee every once in a while. The cleaner took the stains out, made it smell wonderful, and made the thick carpet look brand new instead of 10 years old. My wife is so excited to clean the stairs with the hose attachment and the master bedroom. Already told family members and friends about this product. I spent the same amount of money on this cleaner as i would spent one time having to pay a professional. Now any time I use it Im saving hundreds of dollars...MUST HAVE!!!

Hose attachment won't work

Terrible craftsmanship. Do not recommend. Handle won't stay on...hose attachment will not spray solution.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited for this cleaner to keep the tracks off of the carpet in my young boys rooms, but am disappointed by its regurgitation of dirty water. As soon as the tank is empty, dirty water flows back out, thus making me add more water, clean again and get the cleaner off the carpet before it's empty. In addition, when I turn the cleaner off, dirty water comes out of it. I rolled the cleaner from one end of my hallway to the other over flooring and had to wipe up a trail all the way. On the bright side, it did do a really good job of cleaning the carpet.

Get Rid of Stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Cleaner three times. We have a home with dogs and mess occurs often on carpets. The cleaner did a fantastic job cleaning up mess. In minutes you could see the dirt come up and the carpet clean. The image shows the carpet after using it to clean up a dog throwing up. It did a fantastic job!!!!The one thing that I did not enjoy about this product was that when it was off and standing alone it leaked water. This is not ideal especially on wood floors. For that alone I would not purchase.

The carpet cleaning company we had been using was sold to a company that only handles corporate accounts. We couldn't find anyone to replace them, so we ordered the Power Dash Pet Advanced (We have two dogs.) Last week, we used it for the first time. Wow! The carpet turned out as good as the professional cleaning. We are impressed. One of our dogs tracked in some dirt last night, so I did some spot cleaning this morning. This machine is awesome so far (Still haven't used the upholstery cleaning attachment.) And, the first time use more than paid for the unit.

Belt failed during first use

The unit seemed to be performing fine until the belt broke during my first use. I am not sure why it broke. I am going to have to order a new belt. It concerns me that the unit broke so quickly. Hopefully the belt was defective and I will not have the issue again.
