[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the hoover powerdash pet advanced carpet and upholstery cleaner has been interesting. Firstly, the reason it's getting a four out of five are for minor issues that I found when using it. One of the issues was trying to get the hose attachment attached to use. It doesn't click, so you're not sure if you've attached it well. It took me a few tries to even get it on and then a few more to get it one properly. When I finally got it on properly, the spray function on the hose was finally working. The manual or instructions do not mention much and wasn't helpful. It was all trial and error on my end. Second issue I had was the spray function on the hose. This could be because I never could get the hang of it but I feel that it sprays a bit too heavy and not evenly. I could never really get it to work the way I wanted it to. The bristles on the brush do a great job at removing dirt, hair, and God knows what else even though they look small. I was quite impressed with that. Everything else is pretty easy to use. Especially after you get the hang of it. I had no complaints elsewhere and it worked great. The hose was the only issue for me.

It helps to dry your carpet faster letting you get back to normal quickly. Also can be used as a spot and stain remover. Great for pet owners or people with kids. Cleans up spills with ease. Super happy with this carpet cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this carpet cleaner on two set in stains. One was some Kool aid that spilled in my sons bedroom and the other was a pee stain from my dog. I was surprised how much of the Kool aid stain came out because it's been there for awhile. There's still a little left but not much. The pee stain came up right away. It was a newer stain so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I was just happy that it came up. Overall, I was happy with the performance of this carpet cleaner. It is definitely more of a spot cleaner and not a whole room cleaner as the reservoir is smaller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a rental, and always dread move out day when I would need to rent a carpet cleaner and desperately try to get all the little stains out of my carpets by hand. This is very compact, and although it did include instructions, I was able to set up and get started in less than 10 minutes with no issues. It pulled up a ton of yuck from my carpet and left a good "clean" smell after they dried. This will save me my deposit! And I loved the extra hose/nozzle tool, which made some of the more awkward spaces even easier to clean without having to move my furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited when this carpet and upholstery cleaner came in the mail. It arrived quickly and was well packaged, so everything in the box was in good condition. Unboxing and assembly was super easy, and the instructions were clear. I loved that a bottle of cleaner was even included. I cleaned a few surfaces, including an entry rug, the seat of a car, and a car seat arm rest. The machine did an excellent job at cleaning all three surfaces. The rug was a tough job since it's been exposed to kitty litter, dirt, sand, and salt, but the cleaner tackled it just fine. The amount of dirt that collected in the dirty water reservoir was impressive. After cleaning, the surfaces were damp but dried quickly. The dried surfaces felt fresh and clean, and looked new.
