they really need to fix their suction!

so i bought this one about a year ago and i was so excited. imagine having like 6 animals and a 1 year old. you buy this. excited. then you clean with it and can't put the baby down on the floor for the next three days for tummy time and crawling because your carpets still soaked. i have super short carpet kinda like an area rugs length. it's a pretty okay scrubber. but the attachment never sucked things up and leaked out of the connection spot even after deep cleaning and drying everything. the parts just don't stay together let alone fit well together at all. i used it recently because i desperately needed to do the carpets. i thought why not give it another go ya know. maybe i can finagle it. nope. now i'm left with soaked carpets don't get me wrong i ended up getting them cleaned with a bunch of hand scrubbing too. but now i'm left with a soaked living room floor for a couple days i'm even running the dehumidifier to see if it'll help at all. it's a lot like i tried drying it with a towel and just wouldn't work. one of my friends even has one and they hate it too. i really hope they fix their engineering.

Worked great for how small, but 1st one died and so did the second. I pbly used them 3 or 4 times a year on 3 area rugs. No waaaaay to replace the motor that dies, Miss having clean carpets, but not dropping money on a model that has failed me 2xs.

I have a new puppy and this was a VERY necessary piece of equipment. I will be doing other rooms, my sofa and stairs quite soon. I love the fact this included the attachments. One question though. Why was it not mentioned anywhere that this package included the attachment bag? I ordered one and did not need it.

I received this as a house warming gift on 3/17/23. Ive used this item a handful of times for a quick spot treat for puppy accidents. So very minimal use and cleaned after each time like recommended per hoover. Which is a pain and not very easy. I even used their carpet cleaner for pet messes, like they recommend, which sucks and does NOT kill urine enzymes. Yesterday, not even a full month later, it died. The power to the cleaner was surging in and out and it smelled like it was burning. I made sure everything was in place correctly, double checked the belt, it was good. I called Hoover and because I dont have the receipt, it was a gift, the best they can do is offer me 20% off a new product. Dont waste your money on this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice powerful unit for very small areas. I would not recommend for anything bigger than 12 x 12 or an area carpet. Great for spot pick ups if you plan on doing a large room get a full-size unit.

Broke after using only one time

Poor product. It will either release water all at once or water doesn't come out at all. I tried everything to repair with no luck. I would take it back but it has been over 30 days. I also don't want to drive over an hour to get it repaired at repair shop.

The original was hard to clean but better

I loved my PowerDash Pet (blue and white, model FH50700) but it eventually broke after five years and I replaced it with the more expensive PowerDash Pet Advanced (gray, model FH55050PC). The PowerDash Pet+ (red and white, model FH50704V) and PowerDash Pet Advanced models both have heat drying technology and a newer design for easier/better cleaning after use, with the latter also having a handheld attachment, which is why I chose it. The PD Pet Advanced does not work as well as the PD Pet. There is not as much water in the dirty water tank, the water in there is less dirty and the machine picks up fewer lint/fur clumps. This must be because the heat tech dries the water rather than sucking it up along with the dirt, the new design (for easier disassembly) makes it easier to clean but worse at scrubbing/suctioning, or some combination of these factors. I absolutely loathed cleaning the PD Pet. Since the PD Pet Advanced doesn't seem to work as well, though, and the handheld attachment isn't particularly impressive (which is to be expected since there are specific machines for that and even they are disappointing), I may just return it for the original PD Pet. I'm tempted to consider the PD Pet+ since it's easier to clean but I imagine that I should realistically expect the same subpar performance since it has the same heat tech and new design as the PD Pet Advanced. Pretty torn and confused now, and don't feel good about my purchase. Has anyone else used one of the PowerDash models and then upgraded to this but noticed it produces less satisfactory results?

I was highly disappointed in this product

I got this as a Christmas gift from my parents cause I got a new puppy. I used it 4 times on just spot cleaning while potty training and it now won't turn on. I have cleaned it everytime I used it. And it just blew up. It was bought cause of the high ratings and am unsure I will ever buy another hoover product.
