One Was kind of a thick rug, and the machine did very well considering the nap was really high. The steam mop my son used on his horse stall mats that he works out on in his garage and was very pleased with the results

I have a lot of arthritis in my hands but the machine is easy to maneuver. The problems that I had are. The water bottle leaked out completely on to the floor. The good news is I only had about a 3rd filled. And it's very hard to clean the roller nozzle cover
