[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this Hoover Powedash Pet Advanced carpet cleaner, in fact I did love it in the beginning, before I used the hand held attachment. The carpet cleaner itself is small, compact and light. It's perfect for pet messes, small rooms and anyone with back problems. The machine isn't too loud, my vacuum is much louder. The downside of this cleaner is the hand attachment. Where the attachment "plugs" into the cleaner, the seal isn't tight and dirty water leaks everywhere. If that issue was fixed I would love this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lightweight but Tough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky (?) enough to undergo cancer treatment during the pandemic, so the idea of renting something (that might have germs!) heavy or hiring a professional has been out of the question. I've gotten tired using my spot cleaner and of course it's not practical to substitute its use for full rooms. I used this in high traffic areas as you enter my condo home and was pretty impressed with what this little thing was able to loosen up. Very pleased to add this tool to my arsenal against active teen boys and older pets having accidents.

I have used this machine twice now and I find it works as described. Easy to use just like a vacuum cleaner and easy to clean. The only negative I have is when the suctions stops when the clean water is supposed to be gone sometimes stops before the clean water is gone or does not stop when the water is gone, minor annoyance only. It would be nice if the cord was longer and it held more water in both tanks on the same platform. Also more suction is always nice.
